Like many other systems in china, it uses CRRC rolling stock and the same tunnel and station designs as the major of the 40+ metro systems in china. It’s also very baffling how large the metro is now. I was born in 2008 and there was no metro there. Now I’m 16 and there are 300+ stations. Good job china

China's rapid build and radial city planning makes for some pretty interesting results. Also, I like that they went for multiple concentric rings like Tokyo.

Considering Chengdu has a population of over 20 million residents, it is definate that an efficient and massive railroad transport system is so necessary.As I myself a citizen in Chengdu, I really appreciate the constructions done and being done which really benefit us.

I was just thinking about Chengdu being a logical choice for another of these awesome videos, considering the absolutely mind-boggling speed of metro developement in the city and surrounding areas. And here we are - it's a rainy Sunday, I have pulled pork slowly taking form in the oven, and Metro Liner gave me (and quite a few other people, I imagine) just what my inner city planner craved for.
