Chengdu only opened its first subway in 2010. This city with a population of 20 million has built 550 kilometers of subway in 13 years. It is the fifth largest subway system in the urban world, and the subways are so beautiful.

Awesome! China’s subways are really amazing! My time in Chengdu was insane especially exploring most of the subway stations! I couldn’t even explore them all but the few I visited blew me away! I hope more places in the world can really be like this! Nice one bro!

Another fantastic video bringing the true China to the world.

While Americans prefer to have rats around their crumbling subways and the British are proud of the rivets, cast iron and bricks in their underground both countries make a deep impression on the passengers on how much they have to pay for the ride.

China chooses not to follow the western subways and underground. The result is more space, spotless cleanliness, well lit environment to ensure safety, pleasant architecture/decoration to promote enjoyable journey and the lowest fare among the industrialised nations.

The Chinese metro is now the best example of the modern China, its vast difference from the US subways and the UK underground undermines the credibility of the western media that routinely smears China.

I love taking the Shenzhen subway every day. I pay $ 0.75 Canadian for one way to work. its so clean, so fast, and everywhere police so i can feel safe and always ask for help like i sometimes do. yeah its crowded during peak hours but that is cause it is so safe and good, otherwise people would not use it so much.
