Especially in industrial areas where low income families are subjected to toxic environments that cause asthma, cancer, etc. It time to be inclusive of everyone. Especially the poor and disadvantaged.

I luv his energy and he seems very sincere. I feel he would be a great candidate for the Senate, to be able to change a lot of these "Only for the RIGHT people" laws.💪🏾💪🏾💯💯

It's crazy how in 2022, we still hear stories about "the first black...." Like we literally just had signed an anti lynching bill because ...you know, America

I support this outreach and action, but it is concerning to me that we have seen significant focus on localized communities far more than addressing access constraints for larger projects in the US.

If we want to even think about decarbonizing this country by 50% in 2030 (which ain’t gonna happen, but let’s just dream I guess), we need to start addressing real environmental and access decisions for major projects.

The largest offshore wind farm now under construction took 16 years to procure necessary offshore drilling and access permit. This timeframe must be shortened if we are to actually be successful in reducing CO2 emissions within our planned timeframes.

We need to start looking at major projects such as Thatcher Pass and make a decision if we are going to move forward with these projects at the cost of environmental impacts but for the benefit of reducing CO2 emissions.

We need to start recognizing that these decisions are not black and white, but are predominately grey in terms of what is the best action to move forward.

At the end of the day if we want to decarbonize quickly then we are going to need to have an environmental overhaul and reduce restrictions at the cost of environmental impacts.

Acting like these decisions don’t need to be made is a fantasy, and not recognizing these challenges and addressing them will only lead to a delayed climate change response.
