This is great tutorial, I would suggest learning to beat match by ear. There are times where the BPM on the Mp3 is wrong, or the display doesn't work. You should always know how to beat match by ear in case these things happen.

LOVE thank you! I just got to this stage after 6 months of trying way too hard to make long mix sets. Just back and forth is SO much fun and you really feel the tracks so much more, what's possible, how to mix in and out as you said - vocals, strings, whatever's there becomes your toolkit. Ol time dj, prolly b4 you were born. I started right after I witness Steve Dahl destroying disco records the night I was working at the stadium 🏟 😐. Did Chicago radio, clubs, yaht parties, military, etc... stop after my litt'l brother won the DMC. Now, I'm training my 15 yr old son. These tutorials are excellent starts. Back in my day we had very few girl DJs. Now, I see many excellent females tearing up the scene. Keep up the gr8 work. Appreciate you.

I really learned how much can be done with just two tracks, repetition, back and forth between the two, and also how useful the EQing is.

So the fundamentals, just focusing on beat matching by ear, nudging the last fraction of a bar if out, cue'ing, EQing.
