Thank you so much! Had this really annoying knot on my shoelaces which i couldnt untie, and soaking it in the water and then untying worked. Appreciate the video.

More impressed that the rope held your weight and the branch didn't break.

Dude you rock. I used a 800$ tugger rope to pull a hung up pine tree down. I incorrectly though my fisherman hangman knot was the correct knot for the job. It worked but a couple thousand pounds of pressure made my knot impossible. However, with time dish soap and the hammering method I have a fully functional tugger rope. I will have to learn a better knot from you in the future. Thank you.

3) 6:24 -- Loops
4) 8:00 -- A stick should work
5) 10:02 -- Looks like warming up the hands
6) 11:26 -- Don't pull it!

I chose the wrong (fig 8) knot to use in towing a stuck zero turn mower up a muddy steep hill. Soapy water loosened it right up!

Water and hammering allowed me to loosen a knot in two 12, 000 pound slings that were knotted together and used to lift a heavy object. Initially I thought there was no way that I was going to get the knot untied. To my surprise It only took 2-3 minutes and voila, knot untied! I didn't even need to hit it very hard with my little ball peen hammer.

I needed to make a clothesline. I had a basketball hoop net to use for that clothesline. I am soaking it in water right now to loosen up the very delicate tight knots. It seems like I’m doing the right thing but tell me for sure by return email
