My mom was a barber, they simply used rubbing alcohol to derust tools, so I suggest that, soak the item on alcohol until rust is gone, maybe do something next scrubbing with a toothbrush to.

I always though salt rusted metal.. not removed it.. I like the vinegar tip.. I need to remove some surface rust

How do you remove rust INSIDE a pipe(40+ years old) if you can't get inside of it but you have the option to block both ends?

Trying to get the rust off of my rotary egg beater but there are a lot of little spaces that i can’t reach. Any tips?

Coat the tool with vinegar and wrap Saran Wrap around it. Leave for 24 hours. Wash off and if needed, scrub. Walah!!

i know of 2 ways Tarnex or the Works toilet bowl cleaner .wear gloves
