When I was in middle school, we grew tilapia in school. At the end of the year we ate them. Also we went to a tilapia farm to learn how to raise them. It was fun. I love tilapia.

Too bad they don't do that now days. They even cut home Ec and shop class from schools. So sad :(

It's awesome that your son wants to eliminate the invasives from the pond. It doesn't seem like there are many bass or you would have caught a few.

Could just put some 8 pound bass in that pond and they’ll mow down those tilapia. Tilapia eat vegetation.
