That's true I've been following stoicism for the last 3 years and it has honestly changed my life. My narcissistic ex-wife would love to rub it in my face every time she was going on a date with a dude to see if she could get a rise out of me. I learned that I can't control what people say or do in the outside world but I can control how I respond in my mind. Marcus Aurelius says don't feel harmed and you haven't been!

Shaun. I try not to worry about anything and im happy most of the time i try to be indifferent. Im still a bit of a simp but im trying to eradicate it. My main problem is my mother is a trauma dumper and energy vampire. I limit my contact with her but its difficult. She always talks about negative things and I cant stand it.
