I just made these and it came out really soft and good. I used all purpose flour instead of bread flour. Been finding the best recipe for pandesal. And this is the best!

3.25 cup bread Flour = 406.74 g

0.5 cup water = 118 g
0.5 cup milk = 128 g

Hydration = (118+128)/406.74
Hydration = 60%

60% hydration is good for pandesal and most pinoy breads (i think)🙂.

Great video!

Just finished baking these and the texture is spot on! Looked all over for a good recipe because I can only get pandesal when I travel home, which isn't often. The bakery I get them from does it a little sweeter tho so I'll have to make another batch using the 6tbsp (little over 1/3c) of sugar I saw suggested in a comment below. Also, 325F (160c in the video) didn't really brown my rolls much but I didn't want to leave them in any longer and dry it out. I'll put the next batch on the top oven rack to see if it helps
