We are 'transplants' to Fairfield. We've lived here just over 5 years now. We didn't originally set out to live here. We were looking for a home & the real estate agent didn't have exactly what we were looking for in the area we were looking but had the home we ended up buying after seeing it. Our first visit to Fairfield was like a step back in time. We drove through the town just to check it out & it was like driving into Mayberry off the Andy Griffith show, everyone was so friendly & the feeling of community was just awesome. When we stopped to have lunch & do a little shopping the people were so nice & helpful & all had such happy to help attitudes. It was just an all around awesome experience & to this day (5 1/2 years later) we still find this to be the case. If you are considering a move I would have to agree with Miriah, come check out Fairfield!! Good luck & God bless!!!
