I have the oiled version of this. When I was at the dyno getting a tune, we threw on a stock elbow and filter and lost 2-3whp on the top end compared to the AFE and he did some tuning between the 2 intakes. Tuner said the flow of this intake is smoother compared to stock. With all my supporting bolt ons, +tune my car makes 230whp now vs about 206whp with a stock tune and hfc/60mm exhaust.

You should check out the LHT stock airbox mod. OEM ftw.

2 things,

for the zip ties in the back, did you end up using either or both? I find hose that runs along the back only reaches the first zip tie

for the kink on the silicon hose, did you ever fix that? or end up using as is? mine kinks pretty horrendously

Took this intake off. Suffers from heat soak. The box/opening sits over the radiator as well .my car was bogging in the hot weather. Put the stock on back on and no more bogging.
