aFe POWER F 150 Ecoboost Vent Insert Tube Tech Tip

This video will show you how to properly install our vent tube insert into your Ecoboost-Powered F-150 or Raptor to ensure proper vacuum for your CCV and prevent or correct the P04DB check engine code when installing one of our cold air intakes.

aFe POWER P/N 59-06201 is a replacement for component P/N 05-01405 included with all of our F-150 Ecoboost and Raptor Ecoboost cold air intakes.

If you have this tube not “perfectly aligned” will this affect engine performance at all? Or is this tube simply to not have code thrown?

I cannot get the vent hose off the down tube. That damn clip will not budge. Any tips or clues to get this done?

I purchased ams turbo inlet and the vent insert doesn’t go all the way inside do you it shorter or should I just cut it?

made my own for 17$ out-of stainless steel 7/16 tubing and flare tool.
