It’s a dream of mine to see Lawrence of Arabia in 70mm even just once in my life. To me it’s one of, if not the only perfect film to ever exist.

Seeing this on the big screen, as presented on a 70mm screen at Nandan, Kolkata was one of the highlights of my cinema loving self. Albeit in digital, but the quality of restoration and its 8K scan was visible on the 80 foot wide screen, aplomb with gorgeous colors and visual blasts sequence after sequence, not to mention the evergreen acting of O'Toole

One of the greatest films ever made, for the audience as well as filmmakers. David Lean loved images, he had the greatest eye for capturing them, he made this for the biggest screen possible.

Greatest historical movie/film i have ever seen! The scenes are breathtaking and the story is so well written that it is most definitely worth watching through the 4hours that it runs in! You will never lose focus or become bored during this film even though it runs as long as it does!

It’s amazing I’ve gone my whole life not knowing about this film. Watching this trailer I can see it’s influence on so many films that preceded it. Even the trailer moved me. I need to see this now.

I just saw this 4K restoration on my home theater and I can only imagine the dream like atmosphere of the desert that audiences experienced in the cinema back in 1962. God they don’t make em like this anymore.
