Lawrence of Arabia is my all time favourite movie. I had the immense privilege of watching this master piece on the silver screen in May 2013 and I was totally blown away.  I'm so deeply saddened by Sir Peter O'Toole's passing. RIP Peter. We'll never forget you.

Good to see that no subsequent director has dared to film a remake. 😊

I was a dedicated student in university and grad school, but the only time I played semi-hookey was the night Lawrence's 50th anniversary screening coincided with one of my evening classes. I went through half of the class and then excused myself in time to make it to the theater and get a good seat.

Good bye Peter O'Toole. I'll watch Lawrence of Arabia one more time in your remembrance. You were one in a billion in that film Mr. O'Toole. That's how special you were. You were classy, morally good, and handsome as hell. This, in my opinion, is one of the best films of all time. The music, cinematography, and acting was supreme. But most of all Peter, I just want to see your blonde hair and blue eyes. Rest easy Mr. O'Toole. Rest easy.

They don't make 'em like this any more.  This movie is brilliant, especially on the big screen - a true epic!

This film looks like it was made just yesterday. Even without the 4k resolution there's such a grand scale to this movie, and it's better that all of these sets are practical.

Watching this in the IMAX was epic to say the least.

I was privilaged enough to see the digitally restored version on the big screen a couple of weeks ago and let me tell you, it was simply breathtaking! The picture quality is unbelievable, almost 3-dimensional: you can see every puff of dust under the camels' feet, the embroidery on the Bedouin costumes, the more subtle nuances of the acting that just can't be seen on TV. On the small screen Lawrence Of Arabia is merely a great film, on the big screen it's a miracle!

One of the greatest films ever made - one of the most iconic performances ever. Never be anything to compare to Director Lean's Lawrence of Arabia and Peter O'Toole. How I love this film and him! The 1998-'89 restoration with all scenes restored was magical; how this will be I cannot imagine. I saw it as a young girl in Apr. '63 and have loved it & Peter since.
Peter: There will never be another like you. You are as magnificent as the entire film itself is.
Indelible perfection. I luv ya...

Bought a Blu-ray player solely for this. Saw it on the big screen, and was astonished by the quality of the restoration. Truly magnificent.

I'm 58 years old. I've lost track, how many times I've watched this. Watching again!

A movie that would cost almost a billion dollars to make, today.. With the lone exception of (maybe) 2001: A Space Odyssey, this is IMO the greatest film ever made..

This was rescanned/remastered in 8k years ago, and we still only have the 1080p Bluray to look at; it's CRIMINAL!! Release the 4k disc already!!

Seeing this in theaters last month was an amazing experience. I'll be buying the collector's edition Blu-Ray as soon as possible.
