I paid £45 for my 60th anniversary 4K steelbook, and it was £45 well spent.
If you have the latest 4k OLED tv, with the right picture settings, then the 4k transfer is remarkable.

The Blu Ray is excellent, but the 4k is more than outstanding.

I was able to count the many tiny figures in the far off distance, in the Prince Feisal " Stand and Fight" sequence, just before Lawrence and Col Brighton arrive in camp.
In the BluRay version of the film, there is not the same clarity.

Just an amazing 4k transfer, if you have the right television to get the best picture experience

One of the best pictures ever made, and surely one of the best adventure spectacles. Utterly excellent cast, with O'toole as pretty much perfection. The editing, photography and direction are all quite good. And the script is one of the best of that decade, which is saying something. In human terms what they did to Lawrence was a crying shame, they robbed. him of his taste for life. The last scene illustrates this well, as he is being passed in his jeep, by the Arabs on a truck going one way and the single British cycle officer going the other. Past and future, and a prediction of his death.
