Products Used:

Ingredients:
• 2 Slab St. Louis Style Ribs
• Mustard
• Heath Riles BBQ Competition BBQ Rub
• Heath Riles BBQ Garlic Jalapeño Rub
• Heath Riles BBQ Sweet BBQ Sauce
• Heath Riles BBQ Competition BBQ Sauce
• Heath Riles BBQ Cherry Apple Habanero BBQ Glaze

Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 300℉.
2. Trim the ribs to your liking, removing the membrane, stray pieces of bone, and hard fat caps.
3. Place a layer of aluminum foil over a baking tray and set a cooling rack over the top. If desired, drizzle the ribs with mustard.
4. Season the meat on all sides with Heath Riles BBQ Competition BBQ Rub and Heath Riles BBQ Garlic Jalapeño Rub. Transfer the meat to the cooling rack, then bunch the ribs together, allowing for airflow.
5. Set the ribs on the bottom rack of the preheated oven and let them cook for one hour. Spin the meat and transfer it to the top rack, then cook for another hour. Rotate the ribs to the bottom rack and cook them for 30 minutes.
6. To make a glaze, combine equal parts Heath Riles BBQ Sweet BBQ Sauce and Heath Riles BBQ Competition BBQ Sauce with a dash of Heath Riles BBQ Cherry Apple Habanero BBQ Glaze.
7. Remove the ribs from the oven and brush them on both sides with glaze. Return them to the oven for 10 minutes to tack up, then remove them from heat and let them rest. Enjoy!

Those ribs look pretty delicious. But I enjoy a little bit of smoke on my ribs but for a freezing cold day an oven would be okay. Really enjoy your videos. Have a great wonderful day.

I've been cooking what my family calls oven-hybrid ribs for years and my go-to is to do 225 - 250 for 3 hours, covered for the first two. I usually finish them on the Weber Kettle, but you can finish them on the broiler with a glaze or BBQ sauce.

If you want a little smoke flavour, you can add a little bit of liquid smoke when you're putting on the binder.

I put a bit of liquid smoke on when I cook in the oven.

Long time supporter here. Your Garlic Jalapeno rub and Comp rub are staples in my BBQ seasoning box. Some of the best in the business and I've tried just about all of them. I say all that to say, I only watched to give you the view for your channel but for me personally, I ain't wasting a beautiful rack of PF spares in an oven...lol.

Not knocking you at all. I know why you made the video. But I'll layer up and brave the elements first. lol. Keep fighting the good fight brother.

I’ve cooked many racks of ribs in the oven and they always turned out great. I did it a lot especially before I got a smoker!

In 2025, my 3 high school children are going to begin cooking for me and this is a GREAT way for them to kick it off, we already have the Ultimate selection so they can have some extra fun trying to find their favorite rubs and sauce! Hmmm... maybe it's time for me to try out the glazes too? It's already taking up a full drawer in the kitchen.

I'm built like a walrus Heath! Cold don't bother me up here in the North East!!. You still make better ribs in the oven than most on the pit!! Great job Buddy!!

Taking me back to my childhood. Mom always cooked our ribs this way. She did em at 350 and baked em till they were crispy. Sauce was always Kraft Original. Love them this way. Very different than this but surprisingly delicious.

Heath, tried the ribs in the oven tonight. They turned out very good. But they just don't have that smoke flavor. Thanks for the idea. It will work out in a pinch.

I've been cooking ribs in the oven for the longest time I usually cook them at 250 to 275 between 4 to 6 hours and I don't put them on a cooling rack until I take them out of the oven and sauce them and put them back in for a hour at 350°
