Extra tip: If, after analyzing your situation, you decide you really need that item, try buying it from a second-hand store. In my case, I'm always getting documents and receipts with sensitive data, so I bought a used shredder. I'm actually shredding paper at least twice a week, and this was one of the best purchases of my life ✨️

I bought pieces of second-hand solid wood furniture from a friend who sold his house and returned to his home country because he could no longer afford it. This furniture is the only solid wood piece in our home, as we only had the budget for IKEA furniture. We’ll do our best to maintain the IKEA pieces, but unfortunately, in today’s world, high-quality solid wood furniture costs not $500, but rather $5, 000.
