I purchased a "true blue" several months ago and receive comments and compliments each time I wear it. I think it has become a bit more common now, as I've seen several men's stores now carrying this color. It is one of my favorites, to be sure.

True blue is readily available here in the UK and is a great colour. Makes the individual wearing it look very sharp indeed without it being overbearing.

I think a good suit color to consider would be a dark burgundy because it isn't that jarring but it would make you pop. It'd go really great with warm colors and it somewhat easy to match with and is a great alternative to brown.

Just watched this, I've found myself a very nice true blue suit that I intend to wear to a family wedding, I originally wasn't sold on the colour, but as soon as I put it on, it just looked incredible. Since buying it, I've been finding myself thinking about what would go well with it, and I think I have a very good outfit ready to go. A white shirt, a paisley tie (majority purple with orange/gold highlights, ) gold pocket square, and tan shoes + belt. I've never really been one to focus on the pinpoint details of what I wear, but this suit has changed that perception of myself.

Good piece, I just sent it to my kids. They don't like listening to me and don't need suits often but they need to think how each addition compliments and works with the other pieces in their wardobe.

Thanks so much Antonio, I think you really did shed more light on the rule'No brown in town' its been so confusing whether we really don't have to wear brown suits. But at least now I understand it really goes with the skin tone.

My first suit was a decently priced charcoal suit i got for Christmas. I liked it save it was too large. My current is a relatively cheap navy suit i got at an antique store. It fits better, it's just an older look than the modern fitted suits. At the same place I bought a navy blazer that fits beautifully! And recently I bought a brown jacket with a herringbone pattern in it.

This is a perfect guide since I’m heading to a wedding in September. Might go with either charcoal gray or regular gray for it. I’m leaning more towards charcoal since I don’t have that in my wardrobe yet.

The other day, I went to a thrift store and found so many nice suit jackets and sport coats that fit my shoulders perfectly…but my massive gut made them impossible to button! 😂 I’m already I. The process of losing weight (I’ve lost almost 20 lbs), and at first it bummed me out that I still had a ways to go before they could fit me. But, I realized I could see those jackets as a challenge, and I became inspired to lose more weight. Someday, I’ll be able to buy suits off the rack and I’m real excited for it.
