i literally just finished watching your ep. 9 and thought to myself “i hope in the next ep. she’s gonna say that she got an offer” and then i see ep. 10 coming out with this title!

It took me 1 month to be offered a job, but wont start until August. I left my company as I was burned out and very unhappy. Tech, Biotech, Retail, its a brutal world right now. Just always remember your worth people of the YT world. As I always tell my wife, life is chaos and you cannot control it, but it always (almost) works out in the end. My biggest take away from my life experience this past year with burnout and then unemployment: Proactive is the answer to every problem; small or large. When you feel like the world is falling apart, you need to be proactive and do something about it, the universe or deity you worship will not change your outcome if you are unable to be proactive in your life. Life is a journey and I hope you all enjoy the ups and accept the downs as a way to improve your life.

congrats! tech recruiting is SO brutal (like i really hope a 9 week interview process isn't becoming the norm) it's so refreshing to see someone as talented and hardworking as you also going through the same struggles as i am right now, so thank you for being vulnerable and honest on camera about the perpetual anxiety. i'm also currently sitting in anxiety and going insane but seeing experiences like this gives me hope :'))

There are so many moments from this video and your recruiting process that parallel my own. Unprofessional interviewers (I haven't experienced one not showing up, but I had one yawn throughout the interview), feeling anxious about results, etc.
