Undertale, but I'm always Green

In this Undertale mod, my soul is ALWAYS green, meaning I can't move anymore but can only block bullets with a shield! It's just like how it is in the Undyne fight, but now for every single battle in the game! So, what happens in Undertale when you can't dodge but are forced to block instead? How much easier or harder do enemies like Sans become?

I like the idea of frisk confidently holding their shield at the gaster blaster and the immediately getting disintegrated by the attack

Fun fact: the shield that you have is a spear Undyne gives you to defend yourself to have a fair fight. So every attack you defend, you're essentially batting it away with the shaft of a spear.
Visualizing this with some of the more complex or weird attacks in the game is fun.

I actually met that gaster follower on my first ever playthrough of Undertale and was really confused when people started talking about gaster like a big mystery, since to me he was just that minor character that had alphys job before her.

I am interested to see the other souls implemented.
Yellow would be simple.
Purple would be so interesting.
There’s the mad mew mew soul.
Who knows, we might even get custom soul challenges like for orange and cyan.
Another idea is undertale but you are always red.
Even in fights like undyne or sans.
Maybe even some crazy ideas that I wouldn’t be able to think of.

I'm really wondering if you'll be able to block extremely consistent attacks. It would be a bit too OP if it could just block literally everything without a single slip up.

Btw you cant actually die on the mattaton quiz. He always damages you the half of your hp and when you get to 1 hp the quiz just ends.

At the end, when the soul turned cyan, the blasters were so strong the sheild litterally unglued from the soul

My headcannon is that at the end of the Sans fight Frisk just grabs their shield and beats the shit out of the Gaster Blasters and that is why they leave it, because it's broken from smashing it against the attacks.

This is actually really OP outside of undyne fight cause you can easily predict all the attacks and just block them

if it isnt too hard to code, they probably coulda made the mad dummy fight work better by making the shield reflect her bullets
they also couldve adjusted the questions in the mettaton quiz to be in the 4 cardinal directions around the soul and let you answer by making the sheild face the question
