Tbh, I teh context of the song and music video this clash makes sense.. as you have the raw energy of innocence.. and the protect father i think metaphorically it is really beautiful.. that 2 fathers can only protect their daughters for so long but wish to keep their innocence in tack and not repeat the cycle of said ‘ fatherless behaviour troupe.

I feel like a lot of people missed the point of track. Whilst yes they don’t transition in any special way, both parts are an ode to both Ye and Ty Dollar $ign’s daughters. Each part is their own special way of expressing their love and care for their children which imo, makes a very compelling track even if it didn’t feel fully finished.
