Optical image stabilization has become a bit of a buzz word for smartphone manufacturers - you may be a bit sick of hearing about it by now, but rest assured, it isn't just marketing fluff...

you please do a video on all the different calbes? comparing SPDIFm HDMI, HDMI 2.0, thunderbolt, USB 3.0 and... anything interesting you guys can find - I think that that would be really helpful and entertaining for a lot of people :)

I love how you demonstrate what you are talking about like actually shaking the camera and delaying the audio 👏👍

+Gustavo Kaplon There's an on/off switch on the Canon lenses because it isn't always useful. It's useless when taking panoramas on a tripod for example as it can try to compensate for something it doesn't need to compensate for. You tend to take a series of shots rather than a continuous burst with DSLR's when doing those kind of things then stitch them together in Photoshop in post.

It's also annoying when you want to take multiple exposures of things too because it could offset the framing slightly for when you come to edit it later (for things like product photography for example).

The biggest joy of things like a DSLR is they give you ultimate control of everything, or they can do it all for you. You get fine grain control of all settings and options which is why they're so versatile but can at the same time be overly complex for many people who just want to take a picture and carry on with life.

Linus! A Topic for you!

Can you PLEASE make a comparison once and for all about what the big differences are between DLP and LCD Projectors!? I am really stuck as to which type of projector has the least amount of input lag as possible (for gaming of course). Can you please settle this?

Thank you so much for your consideration.

I know the Sony A7 Mark 2 has in body 5 axis stabilization but when you use a lens that has stabilization the Sony A7 Mark 2 will change to three axis stabilization when a lens is on that has stabilization.

Also newer Olympus cameras like the Olympus OMD E-M10 and the Olympus Pen E-PL7 have in body 3 axis stabilization and use software stabilization to help out even more.

Sorry to say, You got that wrong. Mobiles use lens based OIS not in body OIS like you said. This can be seen on any camera module by moving the lens. The actual sensor does not move.

It's like I hold my breath while listening to him. Speed the way he spoke was outstanding.

Not that this wasn't good, but you should have someone like Brandon do camera related tech quickie's.

Hi I really enjoy and learn from your "As fast as possible" series. Techquickie can you also do a quick one on RAW image format. Never understood what is it and how is it good. TIA
