I took it for about a year straight. When I quit, I went completely cold turkey and I didn't feel any negative effects. I honestly did not even notice. After a while, I really don't think it helps in any way, either.

Absolutely amazing only problem I have is that my liver doesn’t tolerate it very well so I have to keep an eye on my liver enzymes when I’m on it

My sleep physician had suggested modafinil to counter my circadian rhythm disorder, but I'm still undergoing protracted withdrawals (finishing month 24) from Adderall and Vyvanse. I'm terrified of the process taking any longer than it should, so I had a knee jerk reaction in my declining the opportunity. Though I will say the waves of fatigue I am still experiencing have me revisiting the idea more than I'd like to admit.

ive used it . if you use too much you will definitely feel it in a really bad way and taking more of it after feeling bad doesnt really help.

My friend is prescribed the adhd dose of 400 mg daily. He wanted to see if it would cause physical withdrawals vs mental so he took a “vacation “ on the second day he described it as a feeling of impending doom and said he wanted to do a titration down because it felt so bad. He’s off now and is able to take it on days he needs it. Point being I observed when high doses are abruptly stopped yes it has a withdrawal similar to almost opioid withdrawal but nowhere near as bad. More mental but definitely physical. Could be psychological but there was clearly symptoms of physical withdrawal. Hope this helps.

After a couple of months taking it, I've come to have blurred vision for up-close objects (less than 2 feet away), and this is more intense after I've been awake all day and upon waking. When I take larger doses of 400mg several times a day, I get swelling in my feet, sometimes accompanied by a mild rash around the ankles. Both of these effects are said to be a cause for discontinuing use and telling your physician.

I don't feel anything from these drugs, I even took 1 pill first, then second day two, and thirs day 3. Nothing. Even alcohol doesn't work on me.

I'm almost two years meth free but I struggle and looking for a medicine to help me.
I tried Ritalin and it ended in a disaster.
Then I started wellbutrin with Naltrexon which worked but lately I can't handle the sadness and cravings no more.
Is there a chance modafinil could help me or will it make everything worse?
