I feel it’s as you described: hope can be good, but it can also lure us toward what is not meant to be. Thus, we get hurt on the rocks, we drown by following the mermaid’s song. Hoping in the wrong things can be dangerous.

And the music is eerie, magical, dark, twisted, and kind, just as hope can be. I really love it ❤

When I listen to "That Siren, Hope" I hear it not as hopeless but more defiant: you're a dancer and you're alive and breathing and you want to risk it and not give a damn (to lump lyrics from three of your songs together!). Hmm, complex or just goofy? Either way, I'm really enjoying your stories.
