Very interesting insight, Harry 👍 Thank you for that. A very good 'commercial' for kettlebell too 😇 I really have to buy one. Greets from Germany, Jo

Hi Harry, I try to include one long easy run round the local forest with three or four strides at the end, one speed intervals on the treadmill and a ParkRun or race at the weekend. We've got a step mill in the garage which is great for low heart rate and leg strength. I have a kettle bell 6kg but need to use it more. I do sixty squats four days a week. Not bad as I'm about the same age as your Dad. Not in your league, but still running.🙂👍. Enjoying your videos.

I have 10 days away in the caravan, 4 in Derbyshire (hilly) 6 in Lincolnshire (flat) so will mix up the hill work with some speed work, and beach runs. Also cycling. Should be fun!

Thank you for such an interesting insight into your week. I've been contemplating getting a kettlebell for a while, and your video has sealed the deal, so I'll be getting one this weekend.
I'm currently following a Half Marathon plan, which consists of 3 runs a week (1x Easy, 1x Interval, 1x Long) and 1 strength session. I usually add in a parkrun to make a total of 4 runs a week.
As always, keep up the fantastic work! Kerry :)

Loved this Harry! I’ve got a 10k in a few weeks and great to see something like this for inspiration!

Hi Harry, another great video, really interesting to see the variety in your training, some food for thought. I'm off now to run our local parkrun!

Hi Harry, just joined the channel. Like the vids because I think we are like minded in terms of how we use and see running. Not to serious but definitely willing to work for it. At this time I do 40-50 km’s per week with intervals on monday with my club and Wednesday long run with tempo’s with the club. Trying for my first official sub 40 10K tomorrow in a race 💪🏻 My main struggle is to cut down on bad things (read: lose some weight) in order to fasten my times. Cheers mate and keep on rolling!

I'm the same, in that I only run 3 or 4 times per week for a total of 30ish km. Two of these are slow with my other half, the other two will be a speed workout and a tempo. Outside of that I'm active all week. Hiking, walking, pullups in the park, heavy kettlebell swings, and a barbell strength-focused session. Recently got a bike for the first time in ages so will be adding in some hill reps using that. I know that this means I can get away with running a lot less than other people of my ability (sub-19 5k). I do love running, but love all the other things I do too.

I am putting in 14 hours/week and I am nowhere near your 10k pace. I am happy to see that once my performance increases it might be maintainable with lower intensity.

I run 7 days a week. Monday, Wednesday and Friday 6-10 easy miles. Tuesday and Saturday Interval sessions. Thursday Tempo and Sunday Long run (15-18miles)

Hi Harry, great channel - I am really enjoying it as I get back into running. Can I ask if your training has changed much since this video?, as I see your 5k times are tumbling (kudos!). Keep up the good work mate.

I would still love to see what would happen if you upped the mileage to say 80 miles a week...
