Took him long enough, Joker only mass murdered thousands of people, blew up a few buildings, and loved every second of it.

Joker should have been nix'd ages ago when he went from "turning water into grape jelly to mess with people" to "Cranking out every terrorist act ISIS has every commited in less than someone's vacation".

And every one of those deaths were on Batman's hands because of his one moral; not killing anyone.
Yet he would hospitalise goons just for hanging out in a warehouse at 3am and cripple them for life for owning a gun in one of the shittiest cities in comics.

Batman's are terrible comic book hero, or antihero, or vigilante, or whatever he thinks he is. While he isn't responsible for those acts commited by Joker, he sure as shit let them happen because he was scared of killing a lunatic and thinking doing so would put him in the same league as William Bonin and Luis Garavito.
