revit needs to enable spline lines to fillet with other lines. As someone who works with point clouds it’s quite necessary

19:00 The ability to turn the leaders on for room tags was available starting from 2021, as far as I can remember, I use that feature a lot.

T-spline modelling inside revit. Or revit can understand triangulated faceted meshes. System families for kitchen cabinets, sidewalks, roads and siteworks. Photogrammetry. These are my top wishlist

This is essentially Revit 2021 part 3. Shame Autodesk are not seeking more efficient or innovative ways of improving Revit

I hope Revit cud really bring a feature where you can open windows and doors easily jus like in Archicad instead of having to download certain components that have the feature or editing them... it's really useful for presentations... i love revit it's straight forward... but i don't like how sometimes i have to look to other softwares jus to get one feature to have a complete model...

I use Revit for Residential and it is would be nice if Revit offered more functionality for Dimensioning. AutoCad for instance will allow you to dimension practically anything. Sometimes I would like to dimension along the diagonal of a Wall containing a Bay Window for instance, and Revit will not do it. I can pull off of a Wall to a point and get a dimension that way, but it will not allow me to pick a point in two locations and pull a dimension between those points. I would really like to see Autodesk fix this in Revit. Nice video of the new features in R2023

I was doing solar studies in Revit 15 years ago... I did a beautiful one with music and video for a member of the Leon's furniture family.

I am glad revit is finally cleaning up their act. Fixing old potholes and thinking about user expirience rather than selling you new 360 stuff and rising prices on subscriptions.

If Autodesk stopped jerking around with creating a new Revit for "fixes", they would actually be going somewhere.
-This year new Revit feature, landscape finally turns the right way, yaaaay. It took us one year, new Revit and your welcome.
Better they come with new Revit version every two years and truly work on the engine of Revit.
I bet you next year they will come out with new room colours as default. "Improvements for Revit"

I am currently using 2018 for some ongoing megaprojects, and 2020 for other huge projects. Not sure if I will ever need 2023...

Though some of these features will aid in workflows overall think this a very disappointing weak release. Was really hoping to see real 3D walls and topography improvements as listed on the road map. With any luck we will see this in Revit 2024. IMO the features that requires drastic improvement are Schedules(functionality and customisation) and Legends.

I wonder why autodesk didn't add yet transparency option for imported images. In some cases i need a image to be transparent.

The one and the basic thing i miss on all revit software is "we should always import component by draging but i prefer like archicad which is using the components(furniture) right away from the software

Key thing for me with this update is improved 3d modeling speed. It's no longer laggy or bogged down, and has a few key additions that make 2023 what 2022 should have been.
