Great video. In terms of RC scheduling Lawrence... What's the current state? Is this to work in tandem with a dynamo script? We've predominantly detailed using CADS RC... gives us more control over change control items.. However, it's more work and time management.

What's a good RC combination these days to use with Revit?

Good upgrades just painfully slow. After using plus spec for sketchup for a year and then switching to revit it feel like it takes forever for revit to catch up.

Hi Lawrence, on rebar tagging, min 18:46, for that Qty tag, are you reporting Quantity parameter value or are you reporting the Host Count Value? For first option, doesn´t works cause is reading always 1, as 1 bar on that individual set. If the solution is the second one, is a feature which has already available on Revit 2022 isn´t? I would like to understand how works interally that tag you selected. Thanks!

Propagate rebar is a real time saver🙏
Does it work for slabs and beams as well?
Thanks

It is really awesome Revit improvements. Do they have any improvements in steel design? Thank you!

Смотрим, смотрим.... столько к этому ревиту вопросов накопилось. Очень не хватает запилов деревянных конструкций разной геометрии.

Video Presentation: 10/10, below is a critique of Revit itself. I feel like the program is being marketed to do things which it is not well suited for. It's causing huge issues downstream.
Rebar detailing has especially gone downhill since Revit took over. Even if it saves you a few seconds (in the end it doesn't), detailing rebar incorrectly causes all sorts of headaches for everyone else. It's faster to detail reinforcing CORRECTLY without Revit. Not to mention the presentational issues. Unless the walls are tilt-up panels they are wrong (if you want to see what mixing precast and cast in place results in, look up Opal Tower in Sydney Australia). The new tools are cool, but you'll reach a snag that ends up taking more time to fix that all the time saved with the new tools. When designers use up their allotted time budget they miss/skip things and take shortcuts. Not good.
Tekla is better but about 1.5x more expensive. One of the commenters mentioned Plus Spec? for Sketchup. Never used it personally. There's various other plug-ins but they are what I call "low ceiling" plug-ins; they will work well for those who don't want to establish their own workflow, but not for those who are able to optimize their workflow for their own specific needs.

Hi there, does anyone have a beginner's video to let me watch and learn how to do rebar in Revit from bar placement to bending schedule? Thanks in advance.

Revit is way behind archicad and nonetheless it has the monopoly in the construction market
