What's New in Revit 2025

Revit 2025 offers new capabilities and enhancements for site design and toposolids, upgrades for modeling and documenting concrete and steel design, in addition to new features for sustainability and carbon analysis, structural analysis, and MEP analysis and fabrication. There are many community ideas realized in Revit 2025, among them sheet collections which benefit efficiency for everyone documenting in Revit, single element and empty arrays for modeling families, and wall joins which improve the experience of placing and manipulating walls, making it more predictable and less prone to error. There’s also more connectivity to Autodesk Docs, improvements for openBIM workflows and data exchange, and other project management upgrades and schema improvements.

Still can't:
- Renumber views efficiently
- Transfer one specific view template from another project (can only transfer all of them)
- Create filters for tags
- Create filters for text notes
- Trim spline curves
- Convert detail or model lines to area boundaries
- Crop drafting views

Additionally, modeling railings is still needlessly complicated. Want to change the material on the rail itself? Sure you can do that directly in the type properties. Want to change the material on the baluster?

- Open Baluster Placement to note what baluster family you're currently using
- exit out of two windows
- search for baluster family in project browser
- duplicate the family
- change the material
- find the railing type you had to exit out of before
- open type properties (again)
- open baluster placement (again)
- find new baluster family

Want to change the baluster from 2"x2" to 1"x1"? - repeat the process.

New updates and features are nice useful no doubt about it despite of that We still need a mandatory upgrade for Backwards saving files (saving files on older versions of Revit), however it doesn't matter we could loose the features which was saved in upgraded latest version while saving in older version but We need this and we want this feature update mandatorily. . Hope this request would be considered accordingly. Thank you

На самом деле ребят, я как человек родившийся в ревит, скажу что все печально. Это программа как была создана для эскизного проектирования, так ей и остается. Нам нужно выпускать рабочую документацию(чертежи) и есть тысячи недостатков которые не исправляются десятилетиями. Например, в спецификациях так и остался фильтр с 2008 года, который включает в себя только 4 позиции (это очень мало) и нам приходится изощраться и создавать кучу расчетных параметров. Таких недостатков тысячи, надо не только новое внедрять, но и исправлять старые недочеты!

We are supposed to be respectful in the comments but autodesk doesn’t respect us. The multi wall solution is lazy and lame. The rest of the features for architecture are mild fixes and small additions to existing features. This is a spit in the face of the customers.
