The Prophet Elijah: When Your Faith is Tested

Elijah was one of the only two people in all of history that never died. He is one of the only two people who appeared with Jesus on the Mount of Transfiguration. Moses was there representing the law, and Elijah was there representing the prophets. And Elijah is mentioned more in the New Testament than any other Old Testament prophet. Yet, James 5:17 says that "Elijah was a man with a nature like ours..." He was just a man like us, so what was the secret of Elijah's boldness? Lead Pastor Sam Shaw walks us through 1 Kings 16:30-33 and 1 Kings 17:1-7 as we examine what made Elijah such a remarkable character, and how we respond when our faith is tested.

Brother, It is like this, we are all characters in the living book.
Each person in the book of life is a descendant of those characters we read about in the old legends, from Adam, Job, Thor, Shiva, Samson. Gomer, etc.
In history (His story), we relive the same or similar story arcs of our ancestors.
The clues are everywhere, even in pop/sci-fi stories. Like you can make parallels between Matthew, Mark Luke, and John and the Startrek officers/archetypes, Kirk, Spock, Bones, and Scotty. then just add Q or the 5th son. Quenton.
In our different functions throughout our lives, we can be merchant, soldier, doctor, teacher, preacher, villain, hero, and may even be a little bit of each. Sometimes you are a saving angel to someone and another time a demon or antagonist.
We are blind to this knowledge because we become addicted to the fruits and temptations of this world.
We are so blinded because the evil one deceives us with false knowledge and juicy fruits that destroy our temple/body.
You see, the anti-christ is the antithesis and it dwells in us when we believe the lies and live-out the lies. Christ is the truth or the Thesis.
The evil one practices black magic and uses false dichotomies which are represented by the two staves of Pharoh. It is with these false left/right serpents (waveforms) that the people are fooled. God sent Moses with the staff of Aaron which represents the true waveform or logos, ie the word of God. People will not free themselves until they shake off that wine of Babylon.
They are not thirsty for the water of truth because they are happy being drunk on the wine of Babylon and they serve the false idols and gods made by men. The story of Elijah on Mount Carmel is an allegory about how when the chips are down, those false gods will not be there to save you. Magic or sorcery is just a web of lies where the true magic of creation is the word of God.
When the orgy reaches its pinnacle God will send his thunder and kill all the false saviors, idols, and gods.
Then the Lord will return and the reckoning will occur.
Kids will not eat their peas and carrots when they are offered cakes and cookies nor will they drink water when they are offered Cocacola.

Elijah has returned, as prophesied, and testifies: It's very interesting that this video begins with the Glen Rose dinosaur tracks...Because, although from Kansas, my family lived in the Fort Worth area for one year, in 1970 when I was 13 years old, and at my instigation we visited the "Dinosaur Park." (I still have a photo that I took of the tracks.) I found out about the tracks because I was very interested in mysteries from a young age, and I often read about true life mysteries...and lost treasures. Little did I know that I was fated to be given the greatest of all treasures, and the answers to all mysteries. I've published this information, but I'll continue to be ignored and rejected until which time I'm empowered (see Revelation Chapter 11). Because, men are addicted to their opinions, and presumptions are ALWAYS far afield.
Even once I'm empowered, many will continue to reject GOD's prophet/witness. But it will be very difficult to ignore me!
You are correct that I'm an ordinary guy, and a loner, not into the cult of personality at all. The primary difference between myself and most other people is that I lack fear (which is the only block to Truth), such that I DESIRE Truth without prejudice! "And in your desire lies its accomplishment, " GOD says. You might also be interested to know that MLK Jr was my forerunner. And the message I bring is the exact same message Jesus Christ brought, free of men's corruptions: "GOOD NEWS" beyond what most people dare to believe!
