so many people cant remember that he was our best player in the playoffs the last 2 years... even when they see he is having a good season now, they say "well lets see if he can do anything in the playoffs when it counts". well he already has the past 2 years.

I think with borje salming passing, it really affected Nylander to really play up to his potential and to take all the wisdom borje had talked to him to do something special in the whole team can do something this year

One thing about this guy is that he is so naturally talented to the point where I think it almost worked against him at the beginning of his nhl career. He seems to have really buckled down and put in the effort while maturing over the past little while. It's amazing to see a player like him get even better as time goes on . He plays his best when he's a little on edge and has been very noticeable and difficult to defend against this season. 👍

Anyone who says Nylander is their favourite was probably lambasting his contract when he signed it. I know I did, but he’s absolutely been worth it this year. I admit I was wrong.
He’s the best player on quite a few other NHL teams if he had ever been traded.

The fact he wasn’t voted into the ASG this year is a crime, even though he probably subs in for Matthews.

I feel bad for all the people who complain about the Leafs coverage. They’re the most popular team in the NHL, just learn to get over it.

As an Avs fan, Nylander reminds me of Rantanen. They both are in the shadow of MacKinnon/Matthews and don't get anywhere close to as much attention, but both are having career seasons right now. Obviously with the context of the injury situation in CO things are a bit different since Rantanen literally had to carry the team on his back for 2-3 weeks in December, and Sammy G is always the whipping boy, but aside from that the numbers they're both putting up right now are pretty similar.

Such a smart video and dead on right! Willy being left of the AS squad shows how much he's being overlooked. Not only are his stats amazing, but I encourage hockey fans to watch him during games, even when he doesn't have the puck. He's sooo smart. He has a knack for finding open ice and makes amazing passes to setup his mates. The assist he got a few games ago where he lifted a pass overhead -- like many players do when clearing a zone -- was spectactuler!!! Nylander and Kampf have become my favorite players this year on a very solid Leafs team. Sub earned!

Nugent Hopkins is a guy that deserves more respect too. Plays extremely effectively in absolutely every single aspect of the game. There’s not one whole in his game and he’s on a one hundred point pace this year. He’d be an all star on any other team this year

It's amazing to see nylander lead a top 3 team with Matthews and Marner in points, but its even more interesting to note that zach hyman has more points than nylander lol.
