Yes! I thought it was funny at first when I saw trends on TikTok about hiding packages from husbands, girl math, etc but then I realized that trying to make being a shopaholic appealing/normal is dangerous. It makes people feel like “oh other ladies are like this! So it’s okay and normal”. Debt causes more anxiety and it’s not fun. So why are we trying to normalize it?

How did you deal with the urge to experience new things ? For me, it's all about not missing out on something you're curious about. I've cut down on buying clothes, but still trying on as many clothes as I want, and then leave without buying anything. But it's not always possible to do that with other things, especially food, travel or other products.
I'm always trying something new, and spending money.
