B17 and B24 Bombers Attacked by Luftwaffe Fighter Planes WW2 GSAP Footage

WW2 German Luftwaffe gun camera footage of an attack on a US B-17 & B-24 bomber formation by Luftwaffe fighters. While unpleasant to watch, this short clip does give a glimpse of some of the tactics used by the German fighters to shoot down allied planes that were not able to keep up with the formation.

These brave bomber crews targeted German military and industrial targets to stop the Nazi war machine. They tried hard to miss and not harm civilians during raids. Due to their efforts the Nazi war machine crumbled by April 1945 thus saving millions of civilians and soldiers from a violent death or permanent maiming.
