The number of times you say testament is a true testament to how much you love that word!

Not really into the speedy but this is gorgeous. Petrol blue and faux patina is such a good mix

Love the look of it! The 1957 trilogy speedy almost grabbed me but the dial on this is a bit more interesting. Could see myself pulling the trigger on this

The 321 is in the ed white so if they did it here you can imagine how much more it would cost. This in my opinion is an obtainable Ed white

Looks beautiful and like how omega is bringing back the vintage symbol. wishing the lug to lug was a bit smaller around 46 but it's awesome surprise drop

The inclusion of the 321 caliber would have made it too expensive and it would be too similar to the Ed White.

Nice job Harrison - today I have my Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean with the burnt orange bezel.

Can‘t wait to look at this one in person.
My first Omega is probably gonna be this or the white Speedy. Let’s see.
On my wrist today:
Longines Conquest Heritage
L1.645.4.52.4 (the old one with the date on the 12)

Wearing my Santos de Cartier Large in Blue Dial. Another option for the Speedmaster, looks great though!

It should be illegal to hide such a gorgeous movement in the back. It’s brand new not “historical”. If you can reimagine a historical watch why not reimagine it with an open case back? I mean, they reimagined it with sapphire. So…🤷‍♂️
PS. Please remove the 12 o’clock 🐓

Looks outstanding. Moon history is not my thing, but love the Speedy. Great video. 👌

I wear a fossil. Its a flieger style watch that belonged to my grandfather who passed away a few months agoand now i wear his watch. This watch is special to me because it was his (obviously) and because he got it for his birthday by my father.

This looks amazing. Might cause me to go for it... Today I'm wearing my Seiko King Turtle - green (the grenade dial), on an olive green nato strap.

I'm wearing a Frederique Constant Classics Runabout Automatic. It is a recent purchase and I really love it. My thoughts on the new Omega Speedmaster Anniversary: It is almost perfect... The only thing that I wish it would have is a sapphire back so I can see the movement. And I know that if people read my comment a lot of them will think 'A transparent case back does't belong because that wasn't on the actual moon watch.' And I get that and I agree. But the watch that went to the moon also didn't have an inscription saying 'The first Omega in space' along with the date and everything. So if we're going to be inaccurate I'd love to be inaccurate to the point where I can admire the beautiful movement.

An Omega has been on my wishlist for a long time (think decades). The past year, the Omega itch has been become more itchy and I've been spending more time looking at their current offering. I found it really hard to decide between a Seamaster 300 (Heritage line), A Speedmaster Professional (sapphire version because of the case back) and a Speedmaster '57.

For some weird reason this Anniversary edition of the Speedmaster ties all of those together esthetically for me. It has more depth to it than the Speedmaster Professional kind of like a the Seamaster but then better. It sort of looks like the Speedmaster '57 black edition, but again better. I like the bracelet on the Anniversary edition better than the one on the Speedmaster Professional with the sapphire. I even like the crystal on the Anniversary better because it is domed like a hessalite but won't scratch as easily as an actual hesallite one. I like a lot about the Anniversary edition. Maybe, just maybe would have preferred a 321 movement in this watch, but then I would be thrilled about owning a 3861 because of all the modern appointments and improvements. So it is safe to say I like everything about the Anniversary edition except for one thing...the closed metal case back.... So Omega, if you're reading this: I would love it if the Anniversary edition would also become available in a transparent case back. That would be an instant buy for me. (I don't actually think that Omega reads this or that they would then implement it, but hey, it is still worth a try :)).

I'm curious about what other people think about an Anniversary edition with a sapphire case back. Do you think I'm out of my mind or do I have a point there? Let me know.

The FOIS has always been the best speedmaster. That’s why I have one lol

And that’s on me right now for the wrist check

Currently wearing: Tag Heuer 60th Anniversary Carrera. I love this new release from Omega. But first, funds to be set aside for the white speedy pro.
