I had the Pro, but ended up getting rid of it early last year. Eventually the exclusives kept calling my name and I was lucky enough to find a PS4 Slim for $140 with Spiderman. One thing I love about the Slim is how quiet it is, and even though it's not as powerful as the Pro, it still does a good job with performance. Sometimes I want the glacier white ps4 pro, but I rather wait for that white Ps5.

PS4 Slim is a great console. With so many great games at affordable prices, It's the best deal in gaming.
The Dual shock 4 is the best Sony controller yet. It's a little larger in all the right places, and the triggers are better too.
And if your worried about how the Slim will look on a 4KTV. Don't worry, it's looks great.
My slim is hooked up to my 55 inch 4KTV and looks fantastic.

Got a new one to replace my older one which was way too loud, I love this one way more, I won't worry about a PS5 until a slim model comes out or if there is a sale on it a year or 2 after it's release

I'm late here, stopped gaming some years ago. Never owned an X-box. Its been a long time since I sat down and played any gaming system from having such a busy schedule. My kids were always talking about how they miss watching me play video games. @44 years of age they surprised me by buying me a ps4 slim for my birthday. Hooked it up and it sat on display for about one week..the next week I started playing video games again. Next year I'll purchase the ps5 and check it out. So is the ps4 slim worth it in 2020? You betcha it is I love my ps4!💯

I know some would argue against it but, if you're on a budget?
I think around now is the best time to pick up a PS4 slim/XB1S given how deals can go. I got my PS4 slim, new, for $200 + 5 physical games, free. Most of the games I've bought have been $10-15 too, again, all physical.

Recently I got: Doom Slayers collection for $10 (4 freakin' games!), Metal Wolf Chaos for $5, YookaLaylee Impossible Layer for $12.
Before that I nabbed SpiderMan GoTY, Horizon Zero Dawn Complete for $10 each, Gravity Rush for $15 and it's apparently worth $70+ now on ebay?? Gravity Rush 2 for $10

Been a bunch of other games I saw for cheap but, have them on PC so didn't bite.

Stores are probably going to be looking to clear out some of this stuff to. So, if you're on a budget, heck yes get one of these things. If you're not focused on constantly having the latest & greatest it's a bargain that's hard to beat.

The only complaint I have is the included 500GB storage is so pitiful that even with all physical games it got full real fast- that and apparently external storage is faster than the internal HDD, even an external HDD.
But even then, I got a freakin' 480GB portable SSD for $15 and it's doubled my storage and sped some loads up.

Nice bonus is the slim uses way less power, is far quieter than the OG PS4 and it's Pro counterpart.

Im a pc gamer who got tired of getting video card and windows problems. Yesterday my video card decided to not allow me to play MHW. I had enough and went to 3 stores to get a ps4. they are sold out everywhere at least in my country.

You can go to the PS store and they have some really good deals on games. So if you don't have a PS4 I think it's really worth it!!!!

I buy mine yesterday. The „New“ Generation doesn’t interest me so much. I wait for the revision of the PS5. This means two or three years of waiting. But I’m ok with that. The PS4 Exclusive Library is so big with so many great Games. I have enough to play and I’m not that person who need the newest peace of tec to have fun. I’m impressed how quiet the Slim model is. It’s the perfect third Console after my One X and Switch.
