Technically he can’t be a citizen of India, NZ, and the Netherlands. From my understanding, India doesn’t allow dual citizenship.

The real reason they blacklisted him is because he made scam safety videos, and according to them it made India “known for its scams”.

I feel bad for separation from his wife and family, but in the US, If you misrepresent or overstay your visa, the same thing would happen. Same for Euro countries. Of course there are ways to appeal without being ignored, but this is India and it’s their right. I’m sure there’s more to the story, but break the rules and this is what happens.

1) don't run business on tourist visa or marriage visa.
2) freedom of speech & to protest in India is only for Indian citizens.

This guy on a tourist visa participated in anti CAA protest. Being a foreign national he is not allowed to have any participation. This goes against the Visa rules. Hence thrown out of the country. As simple as that.

Most of people are confused why was he banned . I think that the reasons for him banned form india is that
1 - He visited few area of kashmir which was restricted for any foreign visitors.
2 - you can take part in any protest in india only if you are a citizen of india but he ignored it and took part in CAA protest. You can find him being part of protest and he also once was shown with his report of protest in the news channel .
I think the second reason was the exact reason for him getting banned but I think government didn't did right thing it should inform him about the reason of getting banned

One side of the story. If you don't abide by the rules you have to face consequences. Why is it that the media will accept this when it's a Western country and not accept when India does the same?
Why does New Zealand not grant visa to his wife to visit him there?
You can't be a citizen of India and another country (unless you are a Raul Vinci or Antonia Maino)
