At first I thought Colin was just a normal dude who is so boring and bland to be around that he just makes everyone bored and sapped by accident, and the family mistook him for an energy vampire and Colin just rolled with it so he'd finally have friends

The fucking curveball... When they got me convinced that it was just a plain normal boring dude living with them, and then all of it ends up being true... This character is comedy gold, from its inception to the lines he delivers, often the most clever offhand hidden jokes (niche references, etc.). I. LOVE. HIM. and whoever helped develop him.

Energy Vampires also leave traps in the form of Signs. Full sheet of paper, 48pt Arial Black Italic with Underlining, all caps, at least 5 exclamation points, and maybe some emoji clipart stretched out by the incorrect aspect ratio. Usually left on things telling you to to not do something. Just absolute eyesores
