How many Energy Vampires have we met in real life, There was this one time I was sat on a bus and had a conversation with this guy, he started to talk about the development in the pedestrianisation of norwich city centre, you see on a Monday between 7.30am and 9am traffic lights are used every 2 minutes allowing about 30 people to make the crossing before the lights go red, now of course that all changes between 9am and 11am because many people will have started working then, but between 11am and 1pm the usage of the traffic lights will go up, not to the same level that the 7.30am-9.30am lights were used, these would be triggered every 2-3 minutes and around 20 people would make the pass each time, then between 1pm and 4.30pm it would slow down again, this time you would be looking at a usage of once every 3-4 minutes and around 10 people making each pass, now here's the crazy bit, from 5pm the number will exceed the 7.30am-9am numbers because you have the workers commuting like in the morning but added to that are the people that spent the day shopping making it the busiest time to make the crossing with around a stop every 80 seconds and between 30-50 people making each pass, from around 6pm the numbers drop significantly and keep doing so until about 10pm where there is an average of one use of the crossing every 15 minutes, because the traffic is reduced the members of the public on foot don't usually need to press the button from 10pm onward hence the 4 used per hour if a car happens to pass at the same time as a pedestrian needing to use the crossing, now Tuesday...
