What We Do in the Shadows follows four vampires who’ve “lived” together for hundreds of years. In Season 2, the vampires will try to find their way in a world of human Super Bowl parties, internet trolls, an energy vampire who gets a promotion and becomes drunk on power and of course, all the ghosts, witches, necromancers, zombies and shadowy cloaked assassins who roam freely in the Tri-State area.

His anti-charisma is so strong it loops back on itself and makes you like him. No other show could have a character quite like Colin Robinson.

Adding an energy vampire onto the show was a master stroke. It could have gone wrong a million different ways but it works and Mark Proksch plays it to perfection. I love this show.

I love the little glimpses into now truly calculated, evil, and intentional all his behaviors are. Like the bit with adjusting the mic unnecessarily, and “Why would you wear cologne?” “To annoy you.” It makes him so much better than if he was just unconsciously draining.
