She had a manticore as a pet who looks exactly like the same manticore from the 2nd episode of season 1. Possibility that he knew Twilight and her friends where the elements of harmony and had to make them see that Fluttershy wss the element of kindness? Probably not, but you can slways imagine.

Makes sense that Luna could talk to animals since she used to be the element of kindness, i wonder if she lost that ability?

That’s why I think when they wielded the elements Luna’s were loyalty, kindness and generosity with her sister having laughter, magic and honesty.

She’s a genuinely sweet pony in her duties and seeks to relieve conflicts through communication first and kindness. Else other creatures wouldn’t be attracted to her
