How to simply install the Portal Gun mod [1.2.5 to 1.5.2] Windows

Welcome to my step by step tutorial on how to install the Portal Gun mod for Minecraft.
I try to explain everything as detailed as possible; if I missed something please make sure
to inform me about it. *Make sure to flip on annotations!

Aren't able to use the auto-installers?
Here's a quick tutorial if you can't use the installer (so aren't on Windows)
1. Make sure you have Forge installed
2. Download the Portal Gun mod
3. Place the zip in your mods folder

Yes they do, there could be a various amounts of reasons why it isn't working for you. Also these aren't my mods, I have made installations tutorials for different types of mods.

Well the latest version of this mod that is in the description is 1.5, not 1.5.1, or 1.5.2. That may be your problem if your Minecraft version is 1.5.2 and you got the latest download from the description on this video.

Only if you have Modloader mods installed on your minecraft.jar, or a corrupted minecraft.jar. Well when using one of the auto-installers to install this mod it should work fine if you already have Forge mods installed for Minecraft, or have a completely clean minecraft.jar.

I meant to say the 1.6.2 version of this mod auto-installer.

There currently is not a 1.6.2 version of this mod for Minecraft; once I get a 1.6.2 version of this mod I will update the description. Oh and I have also been working on a Minecraft website. It is for people who are having problems with mods and how to fix those problems, great recommended mods with all auto-installers and everything, and how to make your very own Minecraft server however you would like.
