That boat gives me so much hope, I'm planning on getting an Albin Vega and they are like 27' I believe. My mother is 75 years old and wanted a last adventure, so we are going sailing! We leave Sweden for Madeira next fall and in the spring we leave for the world!

I am 75, I have lived aboard 2 other times, first a 24 foot double end sail boat in San Diego in the 80's, then a 36 foot houseboat in the 90's and now, still spry, I just popped for a 24 foot Century Antigua cruiser. I am so stoked, I take possession tomorrow on the Mississippi River. Wish me luck.

A humbling reminder that you don't need much to go extended sailing, especially when one considers that many sailed ages ago with much less! Love the bold move you two made, and maintaining the positive outlook during new challenges!

Just recently found you. I'm a 60+ y.o. guy with a disability so you're giving me the brilliant chance to see the world through your adventures!
What I really love about you two is your 'Can Do!' attitudes - so you're clearly gonna make things work, and have a great time doing it, whatever your difficulties. A great gift! Subbed and following!

You certainly have the right attitude! A larger size is not always an advantage, and you have everything you need on this boat. I wish you all the very best, and many happy voyages in the future.

First off, you two made such a beautiful little girl! Congrats! That boat is so cool and just what you needed when you needed it! My wife and I love your channel. You both just seem so at ease and you go with the flow which is a great way to be! All the best on this next chapter!

Love that he continued the tour while still standing in the storage.

I am really amazed at how much was designed into that boat of yours and it is great how well you have organized it for cruising. Love the tour. I imagine that you had a lot of fun creating the video/tour. I expect this reflects the fun you have had in owning and creating lots of wonderful memories for yourselves and for your daughter. Prayers and best wishes for many years of safe travel and much adventure. Stan - dinghy owner and learned to sail on San Francisco Bay 50 yrs ago.

A tiller is definitely better than a wheel. It gives you better feel of the sail trim, and it’s easy to know where your rudder is pointing. It’s also simple and less prone to failure.

What a lovely, compact, well designed and very capable sailboat this is.

The condition of the boat, in addition to it's other attributes makes it an excellent choice for a solo sailer or couple.

Had I come across this boat at $6000 I would have immediately bought her.

The picture of your beautiful daughter wrapped up in her cot was really very lovely, this truly is a Love Boat.

I know you are some experienced sailors, but I have some food ideas that I use backpacking, that would work well under sail. Each meal is put in a pint freezer bag and you add 1 cup boiling water, let sit 5-10 minutes, then eat out of the bag. No dishes to wash. First, biscuits and gravy: Take 1 pack ramen and break up into tiny pieces and put in freezer bag. Instead of the seasoning packet, put in 1/2 pack of Pioneer Country Gravy mix. Add 1 cup boiling water, let sit 5 minutes, then eat. Could add some bacon pieces if you have them. Second, Spanish Rice and Beans: Tape 1 pack of Knorr Spanish Rice Side and divide into 2 freezer bags. Then add 1/2 cup Dehydrated Refried beans to each bag. Add 1 cup boiling water and let sit for 10 minutes. Could add some cheese and Fritos if you have them. For breakfast, I put 1 cup Raisin Bran into freezer bag and add 1/3 cup NIDO (or powdered milk). Then add some water, shake, and eat.

Once you finally get to Nahoa again, it'll seem like a mansion ..

I can still feel the love between you two as well as the love for the new crew and boat. Keep having fun!

I started following you when you were in Indonesia but I'm loving the "new" boat. I grew up in the Skagit Valley, kayaked around Quadra Island, and learned to solo canoe doing the Powell Forest Canoe Route so your channel is a bit of old home week for me. Love watching your transition to small! Looks like it would be an ideal craft for the Great Loop.

Stumbled across this video looking and learning about sailboats. This is too cute!! Lol. What an inspiration that size doesn’t really matter!! Wait, that didn’t come out right. Love this little boat!!

It's gratifying to see that a happy family doesn't let their joy and pride depend on how many feet long their boat is. Very likeable couple !
