Whelan was NOT wrongfully detained. He was over-sentenced. That was how he was wronged. Unfortunately, over-sentencing happens in the U.S. all too often as well.

Just goes to show what amazing people Britney Griner and Paul Whelan are. All the Maga fans saying "he shouldve been released first" or implying that she was a horrible person and yet. As soon as she got home she became perhaps one of his strongest advocates. Props to Britney, Joe, Kamala and to everyone else involved for finishing the job and getting him home. 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙💙💙
