Oslo: The Most Beautiful City I've Ever Seen | My Epic Day of Exploration!

Oslo took my breath away-this was by far the best day of my 2024 travels and the highlight of my NCL European cruise! Join me as I explore this incredible city, starting with the iconic Oslo Opera House. This architectural masterpiece, known for its sleek, modern design, offers stunning panoramic views of the city and the fjord from its rooftop. After soaking in the views, I hopped on a 'Hop On, Hop Off' bus to one of the most beautiful places I've ever been: Vigeland Park. This world-renowned park, officially known as Frogner Park, is home to over 200 sculptures created by Gustav Vigeland, each one more captivating than the last. The park's serene atmosphere and artistic beauty left me in awe.

Next, I made my way to Akershus Fortress, a medieval castle that has stood guard over Oslo since the late 13th century. The fortress offers a deep dive into Norwegian history and stunning views of the Oslofjord. From there, I visited the Royal Palace, the official residence of the Norwegian monarch, surrounded by the beautiful Palace Park. Walking down Karl Johans gate, Oslo's main street, I was captivated by the blend of historic and modern architecture, vibrant shops, and bustling atmosphere.

I then strolled through Studenterlunden park, a peaceful oasis in the heart of the city, known for its fountains and beautiful greenery. My next stop was the famous Tiger statue by Oslo Central Station, a symbol of the city's vibrant energy. I couldn't resist a visit to Mathallen Oslo, a food lover's paradise, where I had the best burger of my life at Helt Vilt. Located in a trendy food hall, this place is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates great food.

To wrap up the day, I biked back to the area near the Ferris wheel and took a refreshing swim, making this day in Oslo truly unforgettable. Oslo has captured my heart like no other city-its beauty, culture, and charm make it the best place I've ever visited in Europe. Don't miss this incredible journey through the wonders of Oslo, and be sure to subscribe for more epic travel adventures!

Thanks for a really nice video, and kind words about Oslo. The city might not have as many grand old buildings and architecture like other famous European cities, but what it lacks in old architecture it makes up in eclectic architecture, hidden gems, and great diversity. The city also have a chill multicultural and open vibe. You are welcome back any day.

I'm living in Oslo for many years. The people are the best. Came here as an oil diver in 74, loved that too. Grew up in Alaska but after 4 tours in a war this sane place probably saved my life.😅❤

Oslo looks absolutely amazing! I’ve been there myself, and it’s such a super cool city. The blend of history, art, and modern vibes really makes it stand out. The views from the Opera House and the atmosphere in Vigeland Park is so awesome. And that burger at Mathallen Oslo - I’m definitely adding that to my list for next time!

Oslo Opera House is covered in marble. You weren't hiking on cement on your "modern hike", you were hiking on marble. And great video! Greetings from Oslo!

I really like you video!! I’m living on the west coast, and our capitol has always been a special place for me personally. I wish you’d have tickets to look inside the castle and our Parliament (the building with the rounded front you filmed on the right side of Karl Johan. I recommend this for next time, and also the skijump area of Holmenkollen and the ski museum there.
