I don’t get why they made so many Wydowna’s can anybody explain 😭😭

Idk how you didn't mention this but. The reason there are so many Wydowna fakes is because she's an incredibly unique doll whose basic look was a comic con exclusive. She's rare, has only one other doll, and expensive, so many people would buy into a bootleg out of desperation.

You should absolutely make this into a series, where you look at other fakes not just Monster High, so like Lol fakes and Rainbow High fakes and Bratz fakes.

It's funny. I clearly remember the brand "Monster Girl" with a 5 pack of very obvious bootleg dolls being sold at Target back when Monster High dominated the toy aisles (it may even have been around the time of Catty Noir's release). I found it interesting, odd, and honestly laughable that they were being sold there.

As someone from Latin America, ( Brazil) the original Monster High dolls were very expensive for normal people collect, only rich kids collect the real ones. I only had 2 original MH dolls, and the rest of my collection was fake dolls, EAH fake but articulated dolls too. Even them being fake I love my collection, most of them were ugly fake dolls that I costumized to look like the original dolls.

I actually bought these bodies off Ebay (for a presumably inflated price in retrospect) as I have a bunch of official heads with no bodies. If you use these bodies, BE SURE THEY'RE FOR PROJECTS 90% COVERED BY CLOTHES. They are serviceable as articulated skeletons for the most part, but are not great on their own. Depending on the color the arms and legs will either be fairly normal or SUPER rubbery (the mint green is the worst for this). I would suggest using them for projects with long flowing dresses, long pants, long sleeves, etc. Also, the feet may not fit certain official shoes properly.

i watched one of your other mh bootleg doll videos right before going to sleep at the end of summer break when i was very anxious but i was so anxious that i couldn't go to sleep until 4am (i went at 12am) and those 4 hours when i couldn't go to sleep i was just thinking about fake mh dolls and when i went to sleep i had dreams about fake mh dolls and up until school started thinking about fake mh dolls made my stomach hurt

I think people make lot of Wydowna spider dolls as a knock-off so they can trick people into buying the doll because she only had 2 releases (i believe) making her a rarer doll

NGL I bought that 5 doll set of fakies on Amazon like, a year ago and they were maybe $25 at the time. I knew they were fake, but I bought them for customizing. I don't know how people find used Monster High dolls at thrift stores, because I never can. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Oh, have you seen the fake Avia dolls on eBay that have her head with a regular purple human body? 😆

Really interesting video :) I've seen some doll that were obviously fake, but some of them you really do need to look more closely at them and if they have packaging; what it also looks like. I'm glad you put this up for people who aren't really familiar with all the details of these dolls. Even I have wondered at times; such as with Wydowna. Just last week I was thinking about possibly getting one of her and noticed a lot of them on ebay; but I hesitated and really didn't know about all her bootlegs. I also wasn't familiar with the differences between her bootlegs and the real girl. I hope you do more of these videos. Take care Sweetie :)

I had a couple "Gothic girls" fakes and I honestly miss them. A draculaita and Frankie. The ones on the Bratz bodies that had barbie feet. I still have a dress or two from one of the fashion packs but they're barbie sized. Lol
