Creo Parametric - External Simplified Representations - Large Assembly Management

Показать описание
This Creo Parametric tutorial shows how to create an External Simplified Representation. Often, users need to create a Simplified Rep to work more efficiently, but they don't have permissions to modify the Top Level Assembly. The External Simplified Rep creates an external file that allows changes to be propagated to the master assembly.

Hi I am sorry for the out of topic question
could you please share us how to make the rear floor plate?
it seems a very difficult things to do in Sheet metal
Did you create it using solid mode then transform it into sheet metal or turn into shell ?

Hi Dave...Im a bit confused using among the options simplified representation and copy geometry for a top down design approach..Whether both of these serves the same purpose for a top down design? If you can differentiate bwn these two that will be helpful for those who are new to these functionalities within Creo...Thanks

Hi. Thanks for sheding light on this function which I wasn't aware of.
Are there any conflicts with using this with Windchill? Does it mean you could get updates through the "update representation" and not just through checkin if someone else is working on a parent assembly?

Hi Dave...Does the simplified representation option works for an imported (non-creo) assembly file? Also for a creo assembly file whether datums created in the original assembly be available in the simplified representation assy. file? Thanks...
