Creo Parametric - Part-Level Simplified Reps

In anticipation of Creo Parametric 7.0, this tutorial shows how to create Simplified Representations at the part level, using the Features, Work Region, and Surfaces options. Part-level Simplified Reps will be used in conjunction with Multibody Modeling.

Is there a way to only *include* features in a simplified rep that are by default suppressed? ie - Threads in a downloaded mcmaster carr part that we extrude over. I'm trying to find a method analogous to how Configurations work in Solidworks. Or rather, please advise the best way to defeature imported geometry hah :)

I use simplified reps mostly for sheetmetal instead of instances because they are a nightmare to copy. It would be great if PTC would take simplified reps serious in future releases because they could be so much more powerful and user friendly.

Just checked and it is not possible to select bodies when creating the simp rep ... that's a shame because it would make it possible to create single component drawings from the seperate bodies as you would do with an assembly drawing ...
