React Native Tutorial #3 - Views, Text & Styles

Hey gang, in this React Native tutorial for beginners we'll take a look at 2 buil-in components - the View component and the Text component. We'll also see how to create a "stylesheet" in React Native too, to style our components.

Is flexbix works differently on mobile devices? I dont understand why the the yellow view box is under from pink view box. The container is using display flex. And with flex 1 each child should take the same space horizontaly ! Am j missing something here.

why would you need text component inside a text component? probably to have different style?

How do you enable "selecteable" feature in iOS...tap-select-drag to select words only? I added selectable in Text and it works fine in android but not in iOS!
