if app.js is not visible then delete the project
do not directly run that command

1) run this instead :
npm install -g expo-cli
2) after that run :
expo init my-new-project
3) then go to the directory:
cd my-new-project
4) and run the project

i have a question when I installed npx-create-app, when it finished I got 16 vulnerabilities (11 moderate, 5 high). how do you solve this vulnerabilities, same thing when you use create-react-app. What's up with npm?

Hi, got two problems here:
1. App.js is not present and running "npm install -g expo-cli" (as suggested in previous comments) just create errors.
2. There is this file "tsconfig.json" whitch makes error: "File 'expo/tsconfig.base' not found.".
Any ideas how to fix that?

Mine says The term 'npx' is not recognized as the name of a cmdlet, function, script file,
or operable program. Check the spelling of the name, or if a path was included, verify
that the path is correct and try again.
