I bought a zz at like an antique furniture store (that didn’t have plants beside it) it’s in like a glass vase. I haven’t watered it sense I got it about 3 weeks ago, maybe more and it’s still pretty wet. It’s a pretty big plant and I’m scared to repot. It looks really healthy but idk how long it has been in there before i got it. Should I just repot? Or wait and repot if it looks to be having issues?

Plants need different nutrients for different functions, I think nitrogen is the highest. Do some research and you'll find out that balanced fertilizers are a lie by big companies to sell more fertilizer because it looks better.

One stem of my ZZ has thick brown crust at the base of the leaves. Is this a disease or bugs?

A ZZ is my first plant, is it better to water it normally with a glass or should I try to give it a water bath? Or should I try another method?
